Returns and Refunds

Our Return Policy at a Glance
- Return Window: 30 days from delivery date
- Condition Required: Unopened, unused, original packaging, all components included
- Restocking Fee: 15 percent for non-defective returns
- Return Shipping: Customer pays return shipping (GitoTech covers shipping for defective/DOA items)
- Refund Method: Original payment method
- Non-Returnable: Software licenses, opened software, custom/configured orders
Returning a Product
To start a return, email us at shop@gitotech.com or call (973) 975-0229 within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- The product name and SKU
- The reason for the return
- The product serial number (if applicable)
We will review your request and, if approved, send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number with return shipping instructions. Do not ship products back without an RMA number - unauthorized returns may be refused.
Return Conditions
Unopened Products
Products must be in their original, factory-sealed packaging with all seals intact. The product must be unused, undamaged, and include all original components, accessories, manuals, and packaging materials. Products that have been opened, used, or are missing components may not be eligible for return.
Defective or Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Products
If your product is defective or does not work out of the box, contact us immediately. Defective items are tested - if the product is confirmed defective, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. If testing determines the product is not defective, it will be returned to you at your expense.
Opened but Non-Defective Products
In some cases, we may accept returns on opened products. These returns are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee and must include all original packaging, components, and accessories in resalable condition.
What Cannot Be Returned
- Software licenses and digital products (non-refundable once activated or delivered)
- Products that have been custom configured or assembled to your specifications
- Products without original packaging or missing components
- Products damaged after delivery due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Products returned without a valid RMA number
Restocking Fee
A 15 percent restocking fee applies to non-defective returns. This fee is deducted from your refund. The restocking fee does not apply to defective or DOA products, or to returns caused by a GitoTech shipping error.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. Refunds are issued at the original purchase price or current product price, whichever is lower at the time the return is processed.
Manufacturer Warranty Claims
Many products we sell carry manufacturer warranties that extend beyond our 30-day return window. If your product develops a defect after 30 days, you may still be covered under the manufacturer warranty.
